We traveled to Agadir from Marrakesh by the STM company bus. The buses are of high quality, luggage can be checked in at the bus station, just like at the airport. After paying a few dirhams, and pasting the appropriate tag on their trunks. Your goods will be loaded into the bass by porters, you don't have to worry about that. Newspapers and a bottle of water are offered free of charge before boarding. Drivers in nice suits. Passengers are seated according to the purchased tickets. In general, the service is at the highest level, sort of like at the airport. We drove for several hours. Approximately, in the middle of the way, we stopped at a gas station, where there was a good cafe and a shop.

The views along the way are breathtaking. At first, after Marrakesh, a semi-desert stretched, with small Berber settlements, then smoothly passed into the colorful Atlas Mountains. For us, the inhabitants of the European plains, accustomed to completely different landscapes, it all looked exotic, and fantastically beautiful.
In Agadir we settled in the riad "Les Chtis D'Agadir". Clean and nice, reasonably priced riad with good breakfasts. Owned by a wonderful French family. The only negative is that this riad is located far from the ocean, and it is difficult to find it on your own, in the intricacies of the streets of the city. To the central beach from this riad - 20-25 minutes of leisurely walking. Through a small free zoo. In which they contain birds, and small artiodactyls. Didier explains in detail all the nuances incomprehensible to the guests of the city. Like how best to get to the beach, where to eat on your budget (and if possible, and if you wish, you can cook a delicious dinner yourself for a moderate fee), how much to pay a taxi driver, etc. In general, I advise this riad as a quite budgetary and decent accommodation option in Agadir.

To be honest, of all the visited Moroccan cities, Agadir was the least impressed. This is a completely modern, port city. There is nothing particularly interesting in it, except for the Atlantic Ocean. And we must admit that there are no such winds here, and therefore giant waves, as we were lucky to behold in Rabat, or later in Mogador.
Perhaps beach lovers will like this city. With its relaxed atmosphere, many good hotels, restaurants, nightclubs and cafes. Pastry shops there are of a very decent quality, with a huge selection of fresh cakes and all sorts of croissants. So I don't regret a bit that we went there either. We looked and we know that it is unlikely that you will want to come back here.

From Agadir we went on a one-day excursion to Legzira. In my opinion, this is one of the wonders of the world. In fact, the owner of our riad, Didier, organized the trip for us (and he helped us in this, God grant him and his family health and prosperity). He phoned his familiar driver-guide and arranged a trip for us. Hassan, our driver and guide, turned out to be fluent in English, with a good sense of humor, well-mannered and friendly person. He told us a lot and fascinatingly about life in Morocco, about the traditions of the country, about all sorts of nuances that only local residents know. This trip cost us $90 in an excellent SUV, and it is really worth it.
